Our initial stage workshops are designed to engage nursery children, key stage 1, and key stage 2 pupils. We travel to schools in the south of England, and beyond, and provide sessions to help children understand the importance of inclusion, as well as the beauty in our differences.

We encourage children to ask questions and provide a safe space for learning about disability in our community. With fun and interactive workshops, we can guide younger generations to be kinder and more accepting through thought provoking conversations.

Key Stage 1: sessions last for roughly 30 minutes, with age appropriate scenarios and activities that the children can relate to. We aim to engage the children both mentally and physically.

Key Stage 2: sessions last for an hour. We explore topics and ideas with the children to make them think about diversity. Activities are prepared to get the children to work together and have fun whilst learning.

EXPLORING ADVANCED THEMES AND CHALLENGES

As children develop and grow into adults, they come across more complex issues and life challenges.  As well as our KS1 and KS2 sessions, we also provide sessions for KS3 and KS4 students, creating a safe space for discussion, acceptance and understanding.

Key Stage 3: In these sessions, we build on teachings from KS1 and KS2. We will explore more advanced topics, such as religion, disabilities, sexuality, mental health, and how our words can impact others.

Key Stage 4: For older students, we explore more complex themes and challenges. Whether children decide to go into the workplace or onto further education, learning to understand, show respect, and empathise is an essential life skill that will help them in the wider world.

WE ARE CURRENTLY FOLLOWING COVID 19 GOVERNMENT GUIDELINES, AND WORK WITH EACH SCHOOL TO RESPECT THEIR PROCEDURES.
